Kimberly De Serpa is a resident of Aptos for over 25 years. Kim was raised nearby in the Salinas Valley. She is a licensed clinical social worker who has spent her career in health care helping countless people and their families. She has worked for Dominican/Dignity Health, Watsonville Community Hospital, Hospice of Santa Cruz County and is currently working as a health care leader at Salinas Valley Health Medical Center. Kim has served on the Pajaro Valley School Board of Trustees since 2010, ensuring student success & improving the system for staff and teachers. She chairs a pediatric foundation, For Kids Foundation Monterey Bay and serves as a board member for Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance a behavioral health agency dedicated to students and families in the PVUSD boundaries. She has remained a good partner with the Aptos Sports Foundation and Wharf to Wharf who have supported enhancements to our school campus. Kim shares 6 adult children with her husband Dr. Edward McNamara, a Stanford physician.
